This notice explains what information the website may receive and how that information is used.

If you make contact using a method listed on the site, you may provide information such as your name, email address, organization or the subject of your inquiry.

Please do not submit medical records, photographs, descriptions of symptoms, insurance information or other sensitive health information through this website or by ordinary email.Clinical communication should go through the practice or an appropriate secure channel. See health information.

As with most websites, the hosting server automatically records limited technical information with each request:

• the referring page
• the pages requested
• the date and time of access

This is used for security, reliability, site administration and aggregate measurement of how the site performs.

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.It loads no third-party scripts, stores nothing in your browser, and carries no advertising pixels, social media trackers or session recording.

Nothing here is designed to build an advertising profile from healthcare-related browsing. If analytics are ever introduced, this notice will be updated before they are enabled.

The Research Updates list is provided by MailerLite, and it collects an email address and nothing else.

The form appears in two places — the Contact page and the footer of every page — and both send to the same single list. No name, telephone number, specialty, employer or demographic field exists in that form, so none can be collected, and nothing clinical is asked for.

Submitting the form sends the address to MailerLite, which processes it on Dr. Klapper's behalf as the mailing provider. Confirmation is required before any message is sent: MailerLite emails a confirmation link, and an address that is never confirmed is never mailed. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribes, bounces and suppression are handled by MailerLite.

Subscriber information is not used for clinical communication, is not shared for advertising, and is not sent to analytics tools.

This site links to third-party resources, including hospitals, universities, journals, professional organizations, government agencies and PubMed. Those sites operate under their own privacy practices, which this notice does not govern.

Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect this website. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure, which is why sensitive health information should not be sent through it.

This website is directed to a general and professional audience. It is not designed to collect personal information from children.
