This website is intended to be reasonably accessible to people with disabilities, and is designed and maintained with that in mind.

The site is built with attention to:

• keyboard navigation, including the horizontal galleries
• readable typography and adequate colour contrast
• logical heading structure and semantic landmarks
• alternative text for meaningful images
• responsive layout from small phones to wide displays
• clearly labelled links and controls, with visible focus states
• full support for reduced-motion preferences
• complete content with JavaScript unavailable

These are checked automatically on every build rather than audited once, and the site is measured against WCAG 2.2 at level AA.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. Despite reasonable effort, some content or configuration may not work equally well in every technology. Reports of specific difficulties are genuinely useful and are acted on.

This site links to external resources including hospitals, universities, journals, professional organizations, government resources and PubMed. The accessibility of those services is controlled by their operators, not by this site.
